Whatever her size Charlotte Church has never been bashful about showing off her figure in a bikini.
But in body conscious Los Angeles the Welsh singer came over all shy as she covered up poolside today.
The 25-year-old was spotted relaxing at a Beverly Hills hotel under the warm Californian sun.
But the mother-of-two chose to remain covered up and wore a loose-fitting grey vest top over her monochrome bikini for her day in the sunshine.
Charlotte is on holiday with her children, daughter Ruby Megan, three, and two-year-old son Dexter Lloyd, who she shares with her former partner Welsh rugby international Gavin Henson.
The singer accessorised her look with a pair of large black and white sunglasses and her trademark oversized earrings.
At one point Charlotte flashed the effects of her recent weight-loss as she bent over to attend to her children in the pool.
The singer was on motherly duties armed with her children's floaties, and a spider-man toy.
All the fun in the sun appeared to have made the Welsh chat show host hungry as she later tucked into a healthy salad lunch.
Charlotte's size has yo-yo’d in and she said recently of her weight loss: ‘I haven’t exercised – I just don’t eat as much.'
And regarding the pressure to lose weight, she has been quoted in the past as saying: 'I'm happy with how I look. I like looking like this. Why change just to be like everyone else? What's the point of that.'
Charlotte has found new love in Jonathan Powell after splitting with long-time partner Henson in May last year.
She and the little-known musician have been dating since last summer.
And she recently admitted that she was content with her new man, who is the same age as her, and said they get on simply because they have a lot in common.
She said: ‘Jonathan and I hit it off straight away. It’s great because we like the same stuff.
'He’s very intelligent and he’s an amazing musician. That’s where most of the bond lies.
'A lot of the time we’re together we write songs, talk about music.
'We just like the same stuff, the same films – it’s nothing ground-breaking.’
The singer recently attempted to revive her pop career with the release of an album Back To Scratch.
