Ashley Greene labels ex-boyfriend Joe Jonas 'superstud' in new interview given weeks before split

Living out a relationship in the spotlight is never easy.
But Ashley Green might be cringing this morning after an interview in which she labelled her now ex-boyfriend Joe Jonas a 'superstud' hit newsstands.
The Twilight actress gushed about the pop star in the latest issue of U.S. Glamour, published a few weeks after the couple ended their relationship.
In an embarrassing coincidence Greene's interview is published a few days after Jonas praised her in Details magazine. He said the actress puts 'my feelings first.'

Asked about her 'super-foxy boyfriend' the 24-year-old corrects the reporter by saying: 'Superstud.'
Greene had been dating the Jonas Brothers singer since last summer but they broke up earlier this month.

The actress says it wasn't love at first sight. 'A friendship developed first,' she said, 'and that's the most important thing for me.
'If you are going to be with someone all the time, they need to be your best friend... You need to be able to talk about the difficult things.'
But there was one thing that Greene says she didn't want to talk to Jonas about - his ex-girlfriends.
The singer's past loves include country star Taylor Swift and actress Demi Lovato.
But Greene seems to have banned all talk of any past lovers.
She says: 'I don't want us to talk about our ex-boyfriends or ex-girlfriends. The past is the past. As long as it's not a mass-murderer past!
'You're with the person who you're with as they are now.'
Now Jonas is in Greene's past. Since the split she has been linked to Captain America star Chris Evans.
Greene is currently promoting her upcoming film Butter, about a girl from Iowa who discovers her talent for carving butter.
'It's a thing there,' she says. 'They make masterpieces.'
She is one of three actresses who appears on three special front covers for the May issue of Glamour.
Slumdog Millionaire star Freida Pinto and Spiderman's Emma Stone were also given a cover each.
In turn Emma Stone opened up about her childhood panic attacks and about the night her mum asked Angelina Jolie if she has any children..
The Easy A actress also revealed that she was so anxious when she was growing up that she had to have 'therapy.'
Stone, 22, said: 'I had massive anxiety as a child. I was in therapy. From eight to ten, I was borderline agoraphobic.
'I could not leave my mum's side. I don't really have panic attacks anymore, but I had really bad anxiety.'

Despite her childhood fears Stone convinced her parents to let her leave high school and move to Hollywood when she was just 15.
The actress used a Power Point presentation to win her mother and father over. She said: 'There was a lot of fear, but it was also very exciting.'
These days the actress shares her success with her mum whom she took to the Golden Globes.
Earlier this year Stone was nominated for her role in the high school comedy Easy A. Her mother attended the ceremony with her.
'I didn't expect it at all,' Stone says. 'And I got to sit next to Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. My mum was with me; she was my date.
'She was saying things [to them] like:"'Do you have kids? Let me tell you something".
'I was like: "Mum, you know they have kids. It's Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. You are aware they have kids". It was so awesome.'
Stone praises her mother saying: 'Oh my Lord. She is the greatest person on earth.
'She always helps me deal with things as they happen instead of planning them all out ahead of time.
But that's one of 600 billion pieces of advice she's given me.'

Stone, who is currently filming The Amazing Spider-Man, is one of three young actresses to appear on special covers of the May issue of Glamour.
