She turned every head at the premiere of Habernus Papam at Cannes yesterday in a plunging white dress, but Cheryl Cole still decided to show off a more modest gown later in the evening.
After watching the Italian drama at Cannes Film Festival, the 27-year-old popped over to the L’Oreal after party in a shimmering gold long-sleeved gown.
The figure-hugging dress made sure to keep all attention on her for the remainder of the evening, as she strutted around in the stunning ensemble. Her footwear was hidden once again under her mermaid-inspired train and she accessorised the outfit with a bright red clutch.
She started her day by wearing the plunging white Stephane Rolland dress, which left very little to the imagination.
But Cheryl managed to look both sexy and elegant in the white creation.
Cheryl teamed the dress with an unusual belt, which featured what appeared to be two gold pears on the front, and gold clutch bag. The X Factor USA star also opted for a different look with her hair and make-up, going for a slicked-back ponytail and dark plum-coloured lipstick.
The choice was a sharp contrast to Cheryl's usual appearance of voluminous hair and fresh-faced make-up.
Cheryl caused a stir when she arrived for the first day of the X Factor USA auditions wearing a brightly coloured outfit and huge, backcombed hair.
She said: 'I'm hoping people are going to embrace it. I'm not worried (about my accent). It's going to be interesting. I hear a lot of accents here too.
'I'm sure there will be words or phases where people are like, excuse me?'
Asked if she would adjust or change her voice, she replied emphatically: 'Never! I would be crucified where I'm from if I tried to change my accent.'

But her ensemble, reminiscent of the clingy white dress Pippa Middleton wore when her sister Kate married Prince William, couldn't have been more different.
Perhaps the reason for that was because fellow X Factor USA judge Simon Cowell had offered Cheryl some advice.
A source said: ‘Simon told her he didn’t love her orange top and purple flares - he said he had seen her look far more glamorous.

Home time: Cheryl Cole called in a night after the L'Oreal after party in Cannes by jumping into a car to be taken back to her hotel
'He’s really keen for her to boost her international profile in Cannes and has urged her to look fantastic.'
Cheryl appeared poised and confident as she posed for photographers on the red carpet at the premiere.
She then decided to make an appearance at the party hosted by L'Oreal, the cosmetics company of which she is the face.

Perfect from every angle: Cheryl looked absolutely stunning in the white creation, which featured draping to the front and back
Starlet: Cheryl's arrival sent the photographers into a mad panic, with them all attempting to get the best shot
It's the second year running Cheryl has made an appearance at Cannes.
Last year, she again managed to hit the headlines when she arrived wearing a cutaway Versace dress to perform a set at the party during the film festival.
It's been a busy few weeks for Cheryl, who is expected to continue her jetsetting by flying straight back out to Los Angeles for further X Factor USA auditions as soon as she is finished in Cannes.
And Cheryl has already proved a hit with her fellow judges Paula Abdul and L.A. Reid on X Factor USA.

What's my best angle? Cheryl is a lone figure in a sea of photographers in this aerial shot of the premiere
However, the Parachutes singer told MailOnline she was nervous about how US viewers would react to her strong Geordie accent. She said: 'I'm hoping people are going to embrace it. I'm not worried (about my accent). It's going to be interesting. I hear a lot of accents here too.

What a difference: Cheryl's slicked back hair and plum lips was in sharp contrast to the voluminous look she preferred at the first day of the X Factor auditions earlier this month
