Versa-cheese: The collection of dresses made of melted cheddar

A group of students have stunned the fashion world by creating a range of dresses - made entirely out of cheese.
Five incredible creations have gone on display after young designers spent 1,000 hours and one tonne of cheese putting them together.
The cheese couture catwalk collection includes a ball gown encrusted with melted cheddar.

Designed by fashion and textile students at Bath Spa University, the outfits also come with 'Jimmy Cheese' shoes - also made from the strong-smelling dairy product.
They were heat moulded and sculpted into frocks and dresses using Pilgrims Choice Vintage, Extra Mature and Red Leicester cheeses.
Hannah Jenkins, from cheese company Pilgrims Choice which provided cheese for the dresses, claimed the inspiration from the collection had come from popstar Lady Gaga.

She said: 'Food has become a source of fashion inspiration - the world went Gaga for that famous meat ensemble.
'So we thought it was time to introduce cheese to the world of couture, and this amazing project with the Bath Spa University students has ensued.

'Their creativity and ingenuity has stunned us, and we thought we knew all there was to know about cheese.
'Who would have known that cheese could look so chic?'
All the cheese frocks will be on display at the Royal Bath and West Show, at Shepton Mallet, Somerset, from tomorrow until Saturday.

That's gotta hurt: Amy Childs shows off painful blisters on her lips after too much sun in 'Marbs'

She's a dab hand at the spray tan and even has her own shade of orange named 'the Amy Childs'.
But it appears despite all her fake tanning knowledge, The Only Way Is Essex star has forgotten how to stay safe in the sun.
The reality star, 20, was sporting sunburnt lips as she enjoyed her last day in Marbella yesterday.

The beautician looked fairly rundown and tired after a week of hard-partying all day and night in the Spanish resort.
Due to her blistered mouth, Childs left off her signature lipgloss and lipliner as she headed to one of Marbella's numerous beach clubs.
And it was clear she wasn't feeling great when she caught an early flight home to Essex this morning, after a Twitter followers who met her at the airport told her 'hope you get better soon babe'.
Following a week of partying and tanning with her female pals and co-stars, it appeared that Childs was ready to go home yesterday.
She tweeted she was looking forward to seeing her broker boyfriend Joe Hurlock.

Tall order! Lady Gaga totters on killer heels and slips into fishnets for Starbucks stop

Naturally, a stop at a coffee shop demands nothing short of full on costume for Lady Gaga.
The 25-year-old singer turned heads as she paid a visit to a local Starbucks in Los Angeles today, clad in a customary outlandish outfit.
Never one to miss an opportunity for self-promotion, the star was wearing a Born This Way T-shirt - which also acted as a kind of skirt.

She completed the look with sky high Christian Louboutin heels, black fishnet tights, a gold studded jacket and a standout red hat.
The singer has currently on a promotional blitz promoting her new album, which rocketed to the top of the UK charts yesterday selling more copies than the rest of the Top 10 put together.
With more than 215,000 records sold in the first week, her gravity-defying second album was the biggest mover for an album so far this year, the Official Charts Company said.

Famed for her eye-catching, sometimes outrageous, outfits, she said: 'I feel so honoured to have the highest first week sales in the UK this year.
'I wrote the album's first single Born This Way in Manchester because I was so inspired by the confidence and bravery characteristic of my fans: Little Monsters,' she said.
Meanwhile, in the States, the star is poised to sell over one million copies of the LP in it opening week, Billboard has predicted.
She was initially set to move around 800,000 copies, but an Amazon offer that saw it sold for 99cents for two days has helped to send it over the 1.15m mark.

Anna Kournikova enjoys romantic boat trip with Enrique Iglesias as she prepares for The Biggest Loser

She's not going to have much time off once the new series of The Biggest Loser starts.
But for now Anna Kournikova is making the most of her time with boyfriend Enrique Iglesias.
The former professional tennis player and her long-time singer boyfriend took a romantic boat ride in Miami, Florida, at the weekend.

The Russian blonde, who will turn 30 on June 7, clung tightly to Iglesias' waist as he jetted through the clear water in their motorboat.
After retiring from the professional tennis circuit a few years ago, it was announced last week that Kournikova will take over from Jillian Michaels as the head trainer on The Biggest Loser.
Kournikova, who made her début on the finale of the NBC reality show on May 24, will be stepping into Michaels' workout shoes following the long-time host's decision to leave the show to start a family.

Although single Michaels is planning on adopting a child.
'Season 11 of Biggest Loser will be my last :). [I] have to finish out my contract,' Michaels' tweeted at the end of 2010, prompting speculation over who would be chosen as the lead mentor on the weight loss show.
'I want to take a year off TV and focus on becoming a mommy and doing more charity work.'
Michaels said at the time that her replacement had already been found, which means that Kournikova was offered the job months ago.
Athletic Kournikova won the coveted role after she appeared as a guest at the Biggest Loser ranch and put the contestants through their paces in a tennis themed challenge.

The former tennis player definitely doesn't need the extra pay cheque, she recently put her 6,630-sqft Miami Beach mansion up for sale for $9.4 million.
The Spanish style Miami pad has a waterfront location and boasts hardwood floors, high ceilings, arched windows, formal dining room and living room with a fireplace.
The house sale has prompted speculation that Kournikova might be ready to take the plunge and move in with Iglesias, 36, after keeping their relationship out of the public eye for the past eight years.

How not to look classy! TOWIE's Lydia Bright wears Kate's dress but looks less than stylish

Catherine the Duchess of Cambridge turned heads in her £175 beige Reiss dress last week but when Lydia Bright tried to recreate the same ensemble today, she did not quite pull off the look.
The Only Way Is Essex star was spotted strutting into a London office with a Selfridges bag in tow, wearing the same high street dress as Kate.
But instead of displaying a classic royal style, Lydia’s ill-fitting dress was not flattering and the Essex girl even had VPL.

Just like Kate, she also paired the above-the-knee number with black heels but Lydia’s clunky shoes were anything but dainty.
The camel-coloured ‘Shola’ design is from one of the Duchess’s favourite brands and she wore the Reiss frock to meet Barack and Michelle Obama during their UK visit last week.

After the mania, it was advertised on eBay for £600 and a £30 copy is being prepared by Tesco.
Reiss then announced that the dress will be re-released in five to six weeks to cater for the demand.
But after more investigation into the British fashion chain, it was found that the original Reiss dress was manufactured by women paid only 99p an hour in a poor suburb of Romania’s capital.
It was produced for less than £15 by seamstresses earning significantly less than the average salary for textile workers in the Eastern European nation.

But the average high street shopper is no doubt blissfully unaware of how their favourite dresses find their way onto the shelves.
Lydia Bright was back in London after her recent trip to Marbella, Spain, with the rest of her cast-mates from The Only Way Is Essex.
And despite her underwear being on show through the ill-fitting dress, her holiday tan did suit the beige frock nicely.

Looking THIS wacky doesn't come cheap! Lady Gaga admits she went bankrupt after spending millions on tour costumes

Lady Gaga has admitted she was left bankrupt after spending millions on crazy outfits for her Monster's Ball tour.
The 25-year-old singer said she was left £1.82million in debt after the production, which ran for 18 months and 200 shows.
However, Gaga - famed for her unique fashion sense, including the now infamous meat dress she wore to last year's MTV Video Music Awards - revealed she had no idea about the extent of her financial problems.

She said: 'Other than that I put everything in the show, and I actually went bankrupt after the first extension of the Monster Ball. And it was funny because I didn't know!
'And I remember I called everybody and said, "Why is everyone saying I have no money? This is ridiculous, I have five No. 1 singles" -- and they said, "Well, you're $3m in debt." '
It was the rejigging at the beginning of the tour, which eventually brought in £138million, that cost the most money.

But Gaga said the reason she didn't know about the bankruptcy was because money isn't that important to her.
In an interview with Stephen Fry in the Financial Times, Gaga said: 'It's honestly true that money means nothing to me.
'The only big things I've purchased are my dad's heart valve and a Rolls-Royce for my parents, for their anniversary.

Gaga has recently been working hard to promote her new album Born This Way, which rocketed to the top of the UK charts yesterday selling more copies than the rest of the Top 10 put together.
